Skiliftgesellschaft Hochfügen GmbH

Description

Winter holidays and skiing leave many pondering: "Relaxation or a full action-packed program?" In Hochfügen, both are possible. As darkness envelops the high plateau in the Zillertal, the hustle and bustle in the valley disappear, and the stars seem within reach at altitudes of 1,500 to 2,500 meters. With the opening of the 36 lifts in the morning, a snow-sure winter adventure begins, offering a multitude of unique experiences on and off the slopes. A stay in Hochfügen means the freedom to design the perfect ski day according to one's own ideas.

Majestic morning hours: For all the early birds among us, the "Good Morning Gondola" takes you up to 2,300 meters before dawn breaks. The first turns on the freshly groomed slopes offer a majestic feeling. At the new and breathtaking viewing platform of the Waidoffen mountain station, the first rays of the sun greet the day – an unforgettable moment.

Of canyons, curves, and speed: From the untouched silence of the moment, one then experiences skiing as in the times when not all slopes were perfectly groomed. The Funline, with its natural steep curves, rollers, and Crazy Snow Lines, offers maximum skiing fun. The truly brave take it a step further and try their hand at the natural steepness of the K2 Mindbender Canyon. The breathtaking new speed track additionally drives the pulse higher. Those who want to share their technical skills with friends and family can then have themselves filmed at the K2 Skimovie Disruption Cup.

Hidden treasures of the snow: Hochfügen is not only a paradise for friends of groomed slopes but also one of the most renowned freeride hotspots in the Alps. Freeriders have the opportunity to explore Hochfügen's backcountry via the Freeride Info Point, uncovering hidden snow treasures. The "Skifriends powered by DYNASTAR" offer free exploration tours through the Zillertal's freeride paradise, accompanied by trained Hochfügen freeride guides. Starting with beginner freeride guiding, Hochfügen offers a progressive deep dive into the powder snow experience – including specialized avalanche courses and tailored group tours. Additionally, a special and free training search field for avalanche victim search allows for practical exercises under real conditions, accessible at the 8er-Jet mountain station. For those seeking the ultimate first-line experience, Hochfügen offers exclusive cat-skiing, where you can make your tracks in fresh powder snow in the first morning light.

The safe ascent: The interest in ski touring is steadily growing. In Hochfügen, there are two special ascent tracks to ensure safety and make it easier for beginners to start this sport. The tour Fridays with a stop at the 8er Alm are particularly popular, enabling joint ascents under a sparkling starry sky.

The little ones are not forgotten: From special beginner lifts at Lamark to the Juzi Line, designed specifically for young snow enthusiasts with tunnels and steep curves, the little snow enthusiasts in Hochfügen are guaranteed not to get bored.

The conclusion, but not the end: The ideal ski day ends wonderfully with night skiing on seven Thursdays of the season and an impressive show where snowflakes and fire merge into a fascinating spectacle.
